The intro to Einstellung‘s …And The Rest Are Thunder opens with a classic motorik jam that sets the scene for the next fifty or so minutes of sound.
Centered around the standard rock format of two guitars, bass and drums, the music is de-constructed, focusing on the simplicity of repetition. Lyrical narrative is replaced by the minimal progressions of the lead guitar, the tracks frequently building into lengthy slabs of driving loud distortion and feedback.
