We have officially shortened the name of our monthly Bring Out Your Dead events to BOYD and changed our tagline to A Patchwork Of Eclectic Sounds. The posters are now designed by Gareth Courage and we are trying to move the night away from being a purely electronic night and focus on eclectic and explorative sounds regardless of genre. The night is still held at the Bull’s Head in Moseley and runs the first Thursday of the month.

Our designer Alex Bermingham, who is behind first fold’s branding and visual identity, has been busy creating a new and very exciting set of logos, type and branding for first fold books. Alex’s work is ahead of our second volume of premier pli and a new dedicated website for first fold books, more details to follow.

New Art Gallery Walsall Book Fair

A couple of shots by John Hanson of first fold’s stall at the New Art Gallery Walsall’s Book Fair on Saturday the 26th November. We had lot’s of fun , the atmosphere was great, we got to see some fantastic work, swap some issues of premier pli, cover petrol costs and lunch. Thank you to the organizers for inviting us and making us feel so welcome!
